Chief Executive Officer

Mark O'Sullivan
Mark has a proven track record in providing strategic leadership to make a measurable impact on financial performance and the long-term future of member-based organisations. He has considerable experience in multi-stakeholder environments in both the not-for-profit and commercial sectors, setting the strategic direction, building value, developing capabilities, engaging with Boards and strong Government relationship capabilities. Throughout his career, Mark has led membership-based community organisations and is committed to building constructive working relationships characterised by cooperation and mutual respect.
With over 25 years’ experience at CEO level and continued professional development, including completion of the Insead Advanced Management Programme, Mark has strong business acumen and the capacity for driving growth with sound governance, financial, people, marketing, operational and strategic management. Mark is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and has Non-Executive Director experience having recently served on the Board of an Educational Institute and a Sporting Organisation. He currently serves on an Appeals Committee for The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Over recent years, Mark has successfully undertaken consulting projects for State Government and acted as a strategic advisor to a technology company in the scale up stage, specialising in traceability.

John Campigli
General Manager, Finance & Business Operations
As General Manager, Finance & Business Operations, John is responsible for the day-to-day finance function including Board liaison and reporting as Chiropractic Australia’s Management Accountant. John works across the business operations of all three Chiropractic Australia owned subsidiary entities including Chiropractic Australia Professional Development and Chiropractic Australia Research Foundation. John drives business efficiencies, and together with the staff team delivers member benefits that continue to provide members with value.

Peter Werth
Clinical Lead & Policy Advisor
As Clinical Lead & Policy Advisor, Peter works with the Chief Executive Officer to coordinate stakeholder relationships and collaborate with industry and government to advocate and drive the profession forward. Peter graduated from Phillip Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 1986 with a Bachelor in Applied Science (Chiropractic), and has been in private practice since this time. Peter has held several roles within the organisation, including Education Manager.

John Campigli

Membership Coordinator
As Membership Coordinator, Kris is responsible for coordinating all member interactions from onboarding new members through to managing the renewal process. Kris works closely with Chiropractic Australia’s members and all stakeholders to coordinate the end-to-end member experience, whilst working across the business in the areas of events, finance and business administration. Kris is a key member of the Business Operations team, responsible for the delivery of member services, value and benefits to Chiropractors Nationally.

Michelle Portelli
Professional Development & Engagement Manager
As Professional Development & Engagement Manager, Michelle is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of Chiropractic Australia’s suite of professional development programs. Michelle is responsible for coordinating the Gen-C online learning platform, webinars, seminars and workshops. Michelle also supports Chiropractic Australia’s education and advisory committees as well as the coordination of member CPD reporting. Michelle works closely with industry partners, in particular universities and alumni associations that drive industry engagement.

Benjamin Staley
Digital Content & Communications Specialist
As Digital Content and Communications Specialist, Ben is responsible for Chiropractic Australia’s digital platforms and the curation of content with members and stakeholders across the industry; carrying responsibility for media relations and leads communications across all three entities including Chiropractic Australia Professional Development and Chiropractic Australia Research Foundation. Ben plays a key role in driving digital engagement across the membership and profession that champions evidence-based practice.

As Graphic & Digital Designer, Nikki is responsible for Chiropractic Australia’s digital assets, brand, and campaigns. Nikki works across all areas of Chiropractic Australia’s business coordinating all graphic design projects and digital projects. Nikki works with both the Digital Content and Communications Specialist and Digital Marketing Assistant on the development of new products and services which drive engagement and support the ongoing growth of Chiropractic Australia’s member benefits and services.

Adele Di Bari
Digital Marketing Assistant
As Digital Marketing Assistant, Adele is responsible for coordinating Chiropractic Australia’s digital channels with a particular focus on social media, website, and Chiropractic Australia’s communications platforms. Adele works with a variety of stakeholders to drive engagement, program participation, and brand awareness. Adele coordinates advertising and sponsor benefits, working across the Professional Development, Digital Marketing, and Communications teams.

Mandy manages all programming and logistics including the liaison and management of event Exhibitors and Sponsors.

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Office Coordinator, Clare is responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer on a day-to-day basis, working with industry stakeholders and members, whilst also supporting new business initiatives and projects and supports the Chief Executive Officer with Business Development duties. Clare coordinates committee and board activities as secretariat across a variety of portfolios. Clare also coordinates the office operations within Chiropractic Australia’s National office in Melbourne.
